Flags ordered to half-staff in Ohio by Gov. DeWine

COLUMBUS, Ohio – In honor of the life and service of Clermont County Detective Bill Brewer, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has ordered that all U.S. and Ohio flags at public buildings and grounds in Clermont County and at the Ohio Statehouse be flown at half-staff.

Detective Brewer was killed in the line of duty this weekend during a standoff in Pierce Township.

The order is effective now until sunset on the date of Officer Brewer’s interment.
