James W. Clifford Jr., 72

James W. Clifford Jr., 72, went to be with the lord on Wednesday April 17, 2019 at Kimes Nursing Home.
Born February 3, 1947 in Gallipolis, OH.  

He is preceded in death by his father James W. Clifford Sr., mother Ethel P. Leifheit, and brother Patrick C. Clifford.  

He is survived by his four beautiful daughters and their families, Sarah Oldaker (Jeff Stethem), Jenny (Jason) Pullins, Melissa (John) Collins, and Angie Shuler. Grandchildren William Oldaker, Brandon Oldaker, Cayden Stethem, Paisley Stethem, Rebecca Pullins, Elizabeth Collins, Chris Shuler, and Andy Shuler.  Nephew James P. Clifford and Niece Cinda (Nick) Stevens Great Niece Oakley Stevens.

Jim enjoyed the outdoors and made several trips to the mountains to go on his fishing trips. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.  He attended church at the New Hope Church of the Nazarene in Middleport, OH. He was an Operating Engineer at Ben-Tom before moving out and starting his own business.  He was a self employed business owner of his construction business for many years.  He was very active in the community and helped when he could. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy.    Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the funeral Home in Pomeroy.   In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help offset the expense.  A registry is available at www.andersonmcdaniel.com
