One in custody following bomb threat at Buckeye Hills Career Center

GALLIPOLIS, Ohio – A suspect is in custody following a Bomb Threat at Buckeye Hills Career Center.

According to Gallia County Sheriff Matt Champlin, the suspect in the bomb threat which was called in to the Buckeye Hills Career Center on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.

“Yesterday, I reported that one individual had been detained as a result of our investigation into the bomb threat that occurred. Today, the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office filed a charge of inducing panic, a felony of the second degree, in the Gallipolis Municipal Court. The individual charged in this matter is Keaton T. Camp, 18, of Wellston, Ohio. Mr. Camp will now be brought before the court to answer for the charges against him in this senseless crime.

Buckeye Hills Career Center has adult and juvenile students that attend in various vocational programs.
