Rutland Mayor Announces Extended Office Hours
RUTLAND, Ohio – Mayor Tyler M. Eblin has announced new and extended hours of operation. The Rutland Civic Center will be open each Monday and Friday from 2-6 p.m. until and each Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. for administrative business. Entry to municipal offices can be made through the side entrance.
Mayor Eblin noted in a statement, “Please note that the foregoing hours do not constitute the hours of operation for the police department. Should an emergency or issue arise necessitating the immediate presence of law enforcement, the community is urged to contact the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office at (740) 992-3371. A deputy or officer will be dispatched.”
Additionally he stated, “Questions arising outside normal business hours may be addressed to village officials by calling (740) 742-2121 and leaving a voice mail message. Your call will be returned the next day of business.”
Questions regarding water and sewer services, including payments of water and sewer service payments, should be directed to the Board of County Commissioners by calling (740) 992-2895.
