Republicans to hold annual Lincoln Day Dinner, Gov. DeWine Keynote Speaker
POMEROY, Ohio – The Meigs County Republican Party will be holding their annual Lincoln Day Dinner this week.
The event is scheduled for February 20, 2020 with social hour beginning at 5 p.m. and the dinner served at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Meigs High School. Tickets for the Lincoln Day Dinner are $20 each and can be purchased from any Republican Party Executive Committee member.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. DeWine has attended the event numerous times through the years, particularly when he was Ohio Attorney General.
In addition to Gov. DeWine, other politicians or their representatives are expected at the Lincoln Day Dinner. This year, Meigs County has several contested races on the Republican ticket for the March 17 Primary Election.
