Pomeroy Village Adjusting Offices to Respond to COVID-19
POMEROY, Ohio – The Village of Pomeroy has issued a statement concerning COVID-19.
According to a statement from Pomeroy Mayor Don Anderson, he wanted to advise residents of precautions the village is taking to slow the spread of COVID-19. “The lobby to the Police Department will still be open to the public. If there is a need for police assistance in any way within the Village of Pomeroy, please continue to call 740-992-6411. We will still have a dispatcher and police protection on duty to assist you,” Mayor Anderson stated.
Mayor Anderson continued, “The Village of Pomeroy Water Department will be taking further precautions. The Water Office will be closed to public. If there is an emergency regarding any water or sewer service, please call the Police Department. Again, that phone number is 740-992-6411. Payments for your water bill can be accepted through the mail and at the drop box outside of the Water Office. If there are any questions regarding this matter, please call the phone number provided. If the dispatcher does not know the answer, he/she will get it to the correct personnel. These measures are put into place to best protect the public and our personnel.”
