Kountry Resort Campground Aqua Park Set to Open
RACINE, Ohio – After delays due to the coronavirus pandemic and weather, the Aqua Park at Kountry Resort Campground is set to open. The grand opening for the water park is July 3, 2020.
Owners Andy and Tess Campbell took over Kountry Resort Campground five years ago and have been working to make improvements. Some of the improvements have been infrastructure which is not as visible, however, this latest project will be a featured attraction at the campground. It has been a project requiring many steps, but the grand opening is finally here just in time for the Independence Day weekend.
The Aqua Park features multiple climbing areas and slides. Cost for admission is $7 per person. For admission to the beach only, it is $5 per person. The Aqua Park will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is a height minimum requirement of 36” tall. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase. Grills are also available.
Many activities are planned for Independence Day weekend at Kountry Resort Campground in addition to the Aqua Park opening. There is a park wide annual yard sale and fireworks scheduled for July 4. Kountry Resort Campground is situated on approximately 98 acres in beautiful Meigs County, just three miles from the Ohio River and the West Virginia state line.
