Meigs County Construction Update: Week of September 21, 2020
MARIETTA, Ohio – The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Meigs County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting. Click on each route to see the location at OHGO.com.
State Route 7 Projects
- SR 7 landslide repair – One lane of SR 7 is closed between New Hope Road (Township Road 91) and Silver Ridge Road (Township Road 293) for a landslide repair project. Temporary traffic signals and a 12 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: October 1, 2020
- SR 7 bridge work – One lane of SR 7 is closed between Storys Run Road (County Road 345) and Leading Creek Road (County Road 3) for a bridge deck overlay project on the bridge crossing over Leading Creek. Temporary traffic signals and an 11 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: November 20, 2020
State Route 124 Projects
- SR 124 landslide repair – One lane of SR 124 is closed between Barr Hollow Road (Township Road 402) and Eden Ridge Road (County Road 50) for a landslide repair project. Temporary traffic signals and a 10 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: October 30, 2020
- SR 124 landslide repair – One lane of SR 124 is closed between Rose Hill Road (Township Road 200) and Chester Road for a landslide repair project. Temporary traffic signals and an 11 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: October 15, 2020
- SR 124 tree trimming – A tree trimming project is taking place on SR 124, between the Vinton County line and Rutland. This section is closed from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Estimated completion: September 30, 2020
- SR 124 bridge work – One lane of SR 124 is closed between Old State Route 338 (Township Road 708) and Portland Road (County Road 35) for a bridge deck overlay project on the bridge crossing over Groundhog Creek. Temporary traffic signals and a 10 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: November 20, 2020
