Colder Temperatures, Rain and Snow in the Forecast for Christmas

POMEROY, Ohio – Colder temperatures, rain and some snow are in the forecast for Meigs County in the coming days.

According to the National Weather Service, a strong arctic cold front is forecast to move through the region on Thursday. Strong and gusty winds will usher in sharply colder air for Christmas Day.

Snow Christmas Eve into early Christmas morning may accumulate a few inches, and creat slippery travel conditions.

Lows in the teens are expected Christmas, or Friday morning, with highs on Christmas Day well below freezing.

Wind chill values are expected to drop into the single digits to lower 10s by Christmas morning, and then remain there into Saturday morning.
