Meigs County road construction update: Week of March 15, 2021
MARIETTA, Ohio – The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Meigs County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting. Click on each route to see its location at OHGO.com.
SR 7 rockfall hazard – One northbound lane of SR 7 is closed between Howell Hill Road (Township Road 207) and SR 124 due to a rockfall hazard. Estimated completion: December 31, 2021
County Road 5 Landslide Repair – County Road 5 (Mill Street) is closed due to a landslide repair project. Estimated completion: May 1, 2021
County Road 1 Bridge Replacement – A bridge replacement project is taking place on County Road 1 (Salem School Lot Road). The road is closed between Ogdin Road (Township Road 25) and Dyesville Road (County Road 27). The detour is County Road 1 to SR 143 north to SR 32 west to SR 689 south to SR 160 south to SR 124 east to County Road 1. Estimated closure end date: May 6, 2021
