Charles Edward Franklin “Frank” Martin

Charles Edward Franklin “Frank” Martin born on June 12, 1936 went home  to be with the Lord on March 14, 2021.  

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ida Mae (Wilson) Martin; four children, Angela Sue Martin (John V. Story); Margo Elaine(Bruce) Filkins, Franklin Andrew (Stephanie Adams) Martin, Steven Russell (Jodi) Martin; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and host of friends and his best friend, Little Girl Star.  

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alma Frazier; mother, Hilda Frances Martin; father, Burl Martin; uncle, Lonnie Edward Frazier; and mother and father- in-law, Howard and Rachel Wilson. 

His love of singing gospel music for the Lord will continue with an audience of ONE, at his Lord’s feet.  He will be missed by those who were privileged enough to hear is angelic voice.  

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Pastor Thom Mollohan officiating.  Burial will follow in the Meigs Memory Gardens.  Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. and also 1 hour before the funeral on Saturday.
