POMEROY, Ohio – The Meigs County Health Department is reporting four additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Meigs County. Meigs County currently has four active cases and 1,520 total cases (1,362 confirmed, 158 Probable) since April 2020.

As of May 27, 2021 the Ohio Public Health Advisory System is no longer issuing weekly update to track prevalence of Covid-19 in the county.
The Meigs County Health Department is pleased to announce 11 additional Meigs County residents have recovered from COVID-19. The total number of residents since April 2020 to have recovered from Covid-19 is 1,470.
PFIZER, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccines are now available for free by appointment, Monday through Friday at the Meigs County Health Department.
