“Illumination of Hope” Tree Lighting Held
Holzer Center for Cancer Care (HCCC) kicked off the holiday season with an “Illumination of Hope” Christmas Tree Lighting. This event providedindividuals the opportunity to honor a special person during the holiday season.
The event raised funds for the HCCC Patient Donation fund, which is used to purchase gift cards for gas, food items, etc. for cancer patients and their families who may need assistance during treatments.
This year’s personalized ornament features the name of the honoree and is on a HCCC Christmas tree throughout the Holiday season. The ceremony featured a reading of all the names submitted. After the holiday season, these personalized ornaments may be picked up at the Cancer Resource Center in the Holzer Center for Cancer Care.
