Easter Egg Hunts to be Held Throughout the County

MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio – Several Easter egg hunts will be happening this weekend throughout the county.

Rutland
There will be an Easter Egg Hunt and pancake breakfast April 16 at the Rutland Civic Center. The pancake breakfast will start at 9 a.m. with the egg hunt following at 10:30 a.m. There is no admission, but a donation is asked toward the breakfast. Donations to benefits Civic Center Fund and associated costs. The event is sponsored by the Rutland Independent Holiness Church.

Tuppers Plains
The Tuppers Plains Volunteer Fire Department will hold the annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 16 at the Tuppers Plains ball fields. Sign-ups are from 10-11:50 a.m. Hunt starts at 12 p.m.

Harrisonville
The Scipio Volunteer Fire Department will hold their Easter Egg Hunt April 16. The hunt begins at 11 a.m. at the Scipio Fire Station. Hunting will be broken up into age groups of 0-4, 5-8, 9-12. Participants are asked to bring their own basket.

Portland
There will be an Easter Egg Hunt at the Portland Community Center located at 56986 State Route 124, Portland, Ohio on April 16. The Easter Bunny will be there. Stop by at 4 p.m. for an egg hunt for kids ages 12 and under.

Syracuse
The Syracuse Volunteer Fire Department will be April 16 at the fire station. The event begins at noon. The Easter Bunny will be there as well.

Reedsville
Olive Township Volunteer Fire Department will have an Easter Egg Hunt on April 16 in Reedsville at the Bellville Locks and Dam. The hunt begins at 11 a.m. with groups divided by ages for infants-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12.
