Ruby Brewer, 98

Ruby Brewer, 98, of Long Bottom, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, at Overbrook Rehab Center in Middleport, Ohio.

She was born June 27, 1924, in Long Bottom, OH, daughter of the late Charles and Emma Dorst Powell.

Ruby is survived by a daughter, Janie and Bobby Fitch; grandson, Brandon and Alyssa Fitch; two great-grandsons, Cade Newland and Brantlee Fitch; niece, Sharon Gilbert and two nephews, Roger Deem and Darrell Deem.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Brewer and 2 sisters, Bernice Deem and Pearl Powell.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Sandhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday, from 5-7 p.m. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Overbrook Rehab Center for their special care.
