Pomeroy Police receives donation

Pomeroy, Ohio- The Pomeroy Police Department recently received a ballistic shield from the United States Deputy Sheriff’s Association. “This donation ensures officer safety while conducting search warrants and encountering other dangerous situations.” Stated Sergeant Leif Babb.

Sergeant Babb goes on to say that without the donation of the shield to the department that they would not be able to purchase such items due to budget constraints. Sergeant Babb would like to thank the United States Deputy Sheriff”s Association and their contributors for making this donation possible.
