Harold C Boston

Harold C Boston, 89, of Reedsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, December 30, 2022 at Rockland Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born on August 30, 1933 in Ritchie County, West Virginia to Harvey and Grace (Vincent) Boston. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Eloise Boston; three sisters, Dorothy Cunningham, Nora Franklin, and Gladys Thomas; three brothers, Arnold, Leo, and Bernard Boston. 

He is survived by his loving son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Kristina Boston; a granddaughter, Sarah (Alexander) Sisson; a grandson, Jacob (Emalee) Boston; two great grandsons, and several nieces and nephews. 

Anyone who knew Harold knew he loved his family farm. He took great pride in raising cattle and dreamed of owning a team of workhorses. He enjoyed sitting in his favorite recliner and watching birds with his two feline companions, Cuddles and Buddy. 

Harold retired in 1995 from Olive Township, where he worked maintaining the Township roads for approximately 23 years. A short while later, he returned to work part-time for the Township until January 2008. 

The Boston Family would like to thank John and Kathy Walker for their kindness and care that they provided to Harold over the years. 

A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11 at Heiney Cemetery, Reedsville., with Pastor Rick Bourne officiating.
