Racine man arraigned for Felonious Assault and Endangering Children

Yesterday a Racine man was arraigned on charges related to injuries sustained by a infant.

Devin Brown was arraigned on charges that stemmed from a infant being severely injured.

Brown entered a not guilty plea on one count each of second degree Felonious Assault and Endangering Children.

Meigs County Common Pleas Judge Linda Warner set Brown’s bond at $250,000 cash.

According to court documents Brown knowingly caused physical harm to a male infant child. The child was child was transferred to Nationwide Children’s hospital and hospitalized for multiple days.

At the time of of the injuries, the infant was four months old. The injuries included brain bleeds, rib fractures, and bruising.

According to Meigs County Prosecutor James Stanley the injuries were not a one time incident, but had been sustained over time.

Brown is currently incarcerated at Noble County Jail with May 2 trial date set.

The Court appointed Britt Wiseman to represent Brown. The State of Ohio was represented by Meigs County Prosecutor James Stanley.
