Upper Room Ministries presents Family Fun Day in Middleport

MIDDLEPORT, Ohio – A day of fun, free food, door prizes and more is being held at the General Hartinger Park in Middleport from Noon to 4 p.m. on July 29, 2023

The Family Fun Day is being sponsored by Upper Room Ministries. Organizers say there will be free food and drinks, door prizes, inflatables, activities and back to school supplies for students. The event is free of charge.

“We just want to love on our community. Upper Room Ministries’ mission is to create multiple communities for you to be part of and belong to! Jesus went after those who were in the dark – those who were lost and needed to be brought to the light and set free,” said a statement from Upper Room Ministries.

Many businesses in the community have helped to make the event possible including Superior Auto Body, The Vaughan Agency, Amy Jackson Realtor, Home National Bank, Racine Hardware, Valley Lumber Do It Best, Autozone, McDonald’s, Powell’s Food Fair, Weaving Stitches, Blueview Outdoors, Smoke’m If You Got’em BBQ, Fox’s on the River, and Sno Biz Mason, WV., 1st Class Inflatables Albany, OH, Foggy River Candle.

“We have noticed multiple needs in our community which is why we planned this event. We recognize that there are those who feel forgotten, overlooked and like they do not belong to something, and we are here to let them know they are loved, valued, and wanted by Jesus and by others in the community. Our goal is to spread the love of Jesus while letting everyone know that we are here to help pull them out of the pit(s) they are in and/or facing in life. To anyone who feels like they have been overlooked or forgotten – Jesus sees you! We see you,” stated organizers.
