Michael Allen Miller

Michael Allen Miller, 59, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2023 at Riverside Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He fought cancer for 18 months but couldn’t fight the brain bleed. He was born on January 8, 1964 to James A. Miller, Sr. and Katie K. (McGowan) Miller.

Michael was active in sports for Meigs County, Ohio. He helped Brent Bissell with Meigs High School Baseball for many years and the Middleport Youth League. He still kept in touch with many of the youth after he stopped working with the League. He loved helping the ones coming up to reach their best.

He leaves behind a brother, Charles M. Miller (Jeanetta) of Middleport, OH; and a sister, Tina M. Miller of Middleport, OH; a beloved niece, Taylor M. Clayton of Middleport, OH; two nephews, Charles L. Connolly of Pt. Pleasant, WV; and Jason A. Miller of Vinton, OH; and one niece, Brandy Roush Laudermilt of Racine, OH; and many friends that he’s gained over the years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an older brother, James A. Miller Jr; and a sister, Debra S. (Miller) Connolly.

His final wish was to be cremated and immediately buried next to our father at Bradford Cemetery. A memorial service will be held after the holidays.
