Iva J. Sloter

Iva J. Sloter, 73, Albany, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Born August 13, 1949, the daughter of the late Loren “Abe” and Mildred Donahue Lee.
She was a nurse’s aide at Russell Nursing Home, and was an avid blue grass country music fan
and member of the Country Remedies Band.

Iva is survived by her husband Marion “Buzz” Sloter, children Kevin D. Dalton of Rutland,
Danny J. Dalton of Albany, Tina Roush and Rita Kapp both of Racine; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; siblings Mary Lee of Albany, Anita Kennedy of Hartford WV., Amanda Clark of Albany, Pam Harless of Ft. Pierce, FL., Roberta Casto of Gay, WV., Paul Lee of Albany, and Harold Lee of Alexandria.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter Aspen Thomas,
sisters Shirley Wise, Flora Bailey, brothers Thomas Lee and Loren Lee Jr., and nieces
Angie Lee and Gwendolyn Savage.

Services will be Tuesday December 12, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home,
with Pastor Rob Clark officiating. The visitation is on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
