Meigs company set to expand, create 45 new full-time jobs
TUPPERS PLAINS, Ohio – Operations at the East Meigs Industrial Park are set to expand creating 45 new jobs.
According to a statement from Ohio SE Economic Development, JobsOhio, Ohio Department of Development, and Meigs County Economic Development Office, the expansion has been a cooperative effort for an investment of $1.9 million with the potential of $2.6 million with DPC Pipe Fabrication.
DPC Pipe Fabrication is owned by Jared Hill. “Being centrally located amongst several Mega Projects, this investment puts us in a position to better respond to the growing demand,” said Hill. “It is an exciting time for Meigs County and all of Ohio.”
In order to scale up production to fill increased orders, the company will expand and lease two
additional buildings in the East Meigs Industrial Park, both owned by the Meigs County CIC.
“It is exciting to see a company with already strong roots in Meigs County expanding its operations here
at home. We are pleased that Mr. Hill and his team at DPC Fabrication have chosen to further expand
their business here in Meigs County,” said Meigs County Commissioner Shannon Miller. “DPC Pipe
Fabrication’s expansion will bring new jobs to the area and provide a boost to the economy locally, while
continuing to meet the needs of the industries and consumers it serves.”
The 45 full-time jobs expected to be created from the expansion are projected to generate more than $3.7 million in new annual payroll according to a statement from Governor Mike DeWine’s office.
DPC Fabrication is a fabricator of pipe materials, including copper, stainless steel, and various plastics, into customs parts for industrial customers. The proposed project will allow DPC Fabrication to acquire an additional building at the East Meigs Industrial Park and increase its capacity to manufacture new custom products to meet increased demand.
