Marvin (Butch) Dale Hoover

Marvin (Butch) Dale Hoover, 70, of Coolville, OH, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at his residence.

He was born April 30, 1953, in Malta, OH, son of the late Richard (Dick) Hoover and Esther M. Gilliland Gesterling.

Marvin was a U.S. Air Force Veteran (1971-1974) and an Environmental Driller. He attended Fort Frye High School and was a Free Spirit.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Teresa Estep Kisor; children, Shawn Cline, Corey Hoover, Casee Hoover, Maggie Hoover and Abby Hoover; grandchildren, Shay Sanders, Carri Holloway, Kylea Holloway and Little John (Bub) Carpenter, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Kyson Lee Sanders and Evelyn Mae Sanders; siblings, Beth Goldhardt, Brad Hoover and Lisa Hendershot Schilling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Hoover.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 27, 2024, at Sinners-N-Saints on ST RT 60.
