Fatal Crash on CR 124
A fatal crash happened on Aug. 31 about 11:22 a.m.on County Road 124 near County 28, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
John Stobart, 77 , of Racine, was driving a 2017 Ford F-150 west on CR 124 when he traveled off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a utility pole, ditch and then overturned before coming to rest on its wheels.
Stobart was transported to the Holzer Meigs Emergency Department by Meigs County EMS where he passed away.
In addition to the OSHP and EMS, Racine Volunteer Fire Department and Racine Service Center responded.
