Elizabeth Elaine Roush

Middleport – Elizabeth Elaine Roush, 78, of Middleport, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at her daughters home. 

Born June 23, 1946 in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Amelia Romano Latour. Elizabeth was very proud of her Native American ancestry. She was a graduate of Loretto Academy in Sault Ste Marie and worked at Ohio University. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bennett Roush; one son, Jamie Roush; two daughters, Keri (Art) La Ponsie, and Brooke (Andy) Neff; six grandchildren, Jewel, Sean, Nick, Alexis, Jacob and Gage; one great granddaughter, Serenity; one brother, Gene Latour; one half sister, Annie Vincent and one half brother, Perry Latour.

Private family services will be held at the family’s convenience in Greenwood Cemetery in Racine, Ohio.  Flowers or condolences can be sent to 188 N 3rd Avenue, Middleport, Ohio 45760.
