Ralph Benton Wells

RACINE—Ralph Benton Wells, 75, of Racine, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 28,1949, in Mason, WV to the late Chester and Dorothy Cole Wells.

 He was a US Army veteran who honorably served his country during the Vietnam War.

 Ralph is survived by his partner, Diann Wells; one daughter, Julie (Eddie) Heiss; one son, Ralph (Stephanie) Wells; one stepson, Garrison Davis; two stepdaughters, Rebecca (Mikayla) Davis and Brittany (Ryan) Hill; eight grandchildren, Renea, Jeffrey, Courtney, Casondra, Gracie, Cami, Liam, and Kristan; seven great-grandchildren, Ethan, Elle, Eli, Erik, Conner, Hanna, and Addi; two brothers, Ross (Juanita) Wells and Jim Wells; and five sisters, Connie (Steve) Semelsberger, Jo Ellen Lawrence, Sara Deberry, Barbara Wells, and Doris Henry.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, one stepson, Jerod Davis; one granddaughter, Melinda Heiss; one brother, Jack Wells; and three sisters, Leslie, Donna Jean, and Francis.

 Military graveside services will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at Sand Hill Cemetery in Long Bottom, OH.

 The family would like to give a special thanks to the Amedisys Home Hospice Care.
