Carl Eugene Hall
Carl Eugene Hall, 66, of West Columbia, passed away unexpectedly at the Emergency Room at Holzer Meigs, on Saturday morning, September 14, 2024. He was the former caretaker and a volunteer at the WV State Farm Museum, as well as caretaker of the Mason County Fairgrounds. In his earlier years, he was the caretaker at CAMC Memorial Hospital, in Charleston. He loved the outdoors and was a member of the Mason County Coonhunters Club. Carl served his country in the United States Navy.
He was born June 19, 1958, in Columbus, OH, a son of the late Roy Eugene Hall, and Geraldine (Smith) Hall, who survives him. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a son, Christopher Brandon Hall; and a brother, John Alan Hall.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Teresa Lee (Wise) Hall, son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Brittany Hall, of Middletown, RI; step-sons, Shawn (Paige) Bailey and Nolan Bailey, all of Point Pleasant; sisters, Linda Runion, of Leon, Phyllis (Tim) Jackson, of Southside; brother, Randy Hall, of Leon; and his furry four-legged companion, “Dozer”.
There will be a memorial service at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will take place in Creston Cemetery at a time convenient for family and friends. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the service.
