Timmy Wayne Reed

Timmy Wayne Reed, 62 of Millfield, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at his home. Born May 27, 1962 in Athens, he was the son of the late Richard Monroe and Thelma Jean Rutter Reed. 

Timmy was a jack-of-all trades, with experience working in construction, on egg farms, and excavating. He loved to help others and would do anything to spend time outdoors, whether he was partying with friends or fishing. His family was his true passion and he never met a stranger. 

He is survived by his children, Timothy Dewayne Reed, Timeka Jean Reed, and their four children, all of Tennessee; siblings, Greg (Kris) Reed of Kenton, OH, Tony (Georgeanne) Reed of Athens; and significant other, Linda Brown of Athens.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Rick Reed, Ronnie Reed; sister, Sandy Gerding; paternal grandparents, Audrey & Elsa Reed; and maternal grandparents, Clyde & Bessie Rutter.
