Ronnie Vance

Ronnie Vance, 73, of Albany, Ohio, passed away Tuesday October 22, 2024, at Fairfield
Medical Center, after an extended illness. Ronnie was born in Logan, WV. to Mont
and Joyce Vance. He was a former coal miner, Meigs County Juvenile Officer, and a
Lay Speaker for the former Foothills District. He was a long-time member of the Reedsville
Community Church.

Ronnie was pre-deceased by his father Mont Vance, a son Matthew Vance, a brother Robert Vance,
and a nephew Steven Vance.

Survivors include his mother Joyce Vance, his wife Rosemary, mother-in-law Frances Reed,
Children Ronald and Melissa Vance (Nancy), stepdaughter Lauren Hunter (Tom) and grandchildren
Adele Vance, Hailey, Sydney, and Hayden Hunter. Other family members include a brother-in-law
Tom Reed (Regina) and sister-in-law Donna Vance, nephew Andy (Victoria) Vance; and several great
nieces and nephews.

Services will be at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, Albany, Saturday at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor John
Frank officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 12 – 2:00 prior to services. Burial will be in Wells
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to the Reedsville Community Church,
