The Pomeroy branch of the Meigs County District Public Library will be hosting a hunter education program starting on November 2. Jenny Ridenour with Meigs Soil and Water Conservation District will instruct participants through this safety course.

Attendees will learn about firearm responsibility, firearms and ammunition, wildlife management, shooting, bowhunting, personal safety and survival, and more.

This is a two-day course, and participants must attend both days. The first session will be held November 2, 9:30a.m. – 4:30p.m. The second class will be held on November 3, 1:30p.m. – 4:30p.m.
