South Lebanon Township police are searching for a man with a warrant who allegedly escaped from the Wellspan Philhaven Hospital.

Police said Forrest James Pierce, 31, left the hospital at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 12. Pierce is a 5-foot-11, 173-pound white male. He was last spotted wearing a cream-colored shirt, glasses, and a black beanie-style hat.

Police advised people to phone 911 immediately if they saw Pierce and not approach him.

Police did not specify the accusations against Pierce, although he does have outstanding trespassing charges from Cumberland County.

The Pennsylvania State Police Helicopter and other county law enforcement organizations are providing assistance to South Lebanon Township police.
