Cincinnati Man Sentenced To Prison For Kentucky Drug Trafficking Crime

A 46-year-old Cincinnati, Ohio, man and convicted cocaine trafficker was sentenced to ten and a half years in federal prison on Friday for smuggling more than ten pounds of cocaine into the Eastern District of Kentucky.

According to Acting U.S. Attorney Paul McCaffrey, on Friday, September 12, 2025, Kevin Prince Davis, 46, of Cincinnati, Ohio, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and was sentenced to 180 months in federawas hisl prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release, after pleading guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute Five Grams or More of a Controlled Substance, Cocaine.

According to documents filed with the District Court, Davis was a passenger in a car stopped by a Kentucky State Police officer for a traffic violation on Interstate 75. The trooper who made the stop noted a marijuana odor coming from the passenger side of the vehicle. During the search of Davis, the trooper located marijuana on his person.

During a later check of the vehicle, state troopers discovered six bricks of cocaine in the back cargo area. Davis tried to leave on foot but was shortly arrested. When questioned by state troopers, Davis confirmed that the cocaine belonged to him.

Davis has a past federal conviction for conspiring to distribute at least five kilograms of cocaine.
