Police in Reading are investigating a violent shooting that reportedly killed two men and wounded another.
On Sept. 27, police said they discovered two men with gunshot wounds in the 800 block of Nicholls Street shortly before 6 a.m.
Both were taken to a nearby hospital, but one died en route and the other died there.
A third man arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound, and police say he is expected to live.
A suspect in the homicide has not been identified, but police say there is no danger to the public.
An investigation is ongoing.
