A 71-year-old woman was discovered dead in the Loop on Sunday morning, prompting an investigation by Chicago police.
Around 6:45 a.m., police reported finding the woman on the 100 block of North Harbor Drive.
She was discovered unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.
Area detectives are investigating the deceased while waiting for the findings of the autopsy.
No other information was shared.
