St. Louis, MO — A weak weather disturbance will slip into Missouri this weekend, and the National Weather Service in St. Louis says the best opportunity for measurable rain arrives Sunday, primarily south of I-70.
Forecasters put rain chances at roughly 60–90% across central and southeast Missouri, including communities near Rolla, Farmington, and Poplar Bluff. Areas along and north of I-70—including the St. Louis metro and Columbia—are likely to see little, if any, precipitation.
Totals should remain light, generally under one-half inch, with plenty of dry intervals—especially north of the main storm track. Temperatures will run seasonably cool for late October, with highs in the mid-50s to lower 60s.
No severe weather is expected, though damp conditions could affect outdoor plans on Sunday in southern parts of the state.
