LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Another crystal-clear morning settles over the Mojave, with cool, calm air framing the Strip’s bright skyline. The serene start ushers in a continued run of dry, mild weather for southern Nevada, marked by gentle breezes and comfortable warmth through early next week, before a modest cool-down edges in around Halloween.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Las Vegas say a strong ridge of high pressure will stay parked over the region through Monday, delivering steady sunshine and afternoon temperatures in the low 80s. Winds remain light through the weekend, trending southwest at 5 to 10 mph during the afternoons. By midweek, a touch of cooler, drier air slides down from the north, easing highs toward the upper 70s to near 80 and nudging overnight lows closer to 60°F.

Travelers along I-15 and U.S. 95 can expect bright skies and easy driving—ideal for weekend road trips, outdoor festivals, and late-day outings. With the extended stability, visibility should be excellent for flights into and out of Harry Reid International Airport. Locals may find the stretch perfect for yard work, early Halloween decorating, or enjoying patio dinners before the air turns crisper.

Looking toward the holiday, Friday’s forecast favors mostly clear skies and seasonably mild conditions, with daytime highs near 80°F and comfortable trick-or-treat temperatures dipping into the 60s after sunset. Computer models hint the tranquil pattern may start to break as the weekend approaches, opening the door to a cooler northwest flow as November gets underway.

That early-November chill could arrive sooner than it appears.
