At 5:20 p.m., a Ford Escape heading east impacted a Ford F-250 traveling north.
The impact of the crash propelled the F-250 into a Toyota Avalon, while additional vehicles headed northbound were at the intersection.

Two of them were in the hospital with life-threatening injuries as of late Friday night.
The investigation at the scene led to the closure of the majority of the intersection for over five hours.
