3 Detained After Crack Cocaine Seized In Germantown Traffic Stop

Montgomery County Police 5th District DCAT officers detained three adult males Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop in Germantown’s Fox Chapel area that resulted in the discovery of drugs and cash.

According to MCPD 5th District Commander Nick Picerno, officers stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation, and a subsequent K9 scan revealed the presence of narcotics. A search yielded more than 20 grams of crack cocaine, distribution supplies, and cash.

All three suspects were arrested and charged.
