A Davenport man, Alexis Irnel Cintron Victoria, 39, also known by the alias “Gordo,” is facing serious federal charges after being indicted for possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine. If convicted, Cintron Victoria faces a five-year mandatory minimum term and a maximum of 40 years in prison.
The indictment, announced Wednesday, also contains a warning that the US government seeks to forfeit any assets related to the accused wrongdoing.
According to court records, the case began on November 6, 2025, when Lakeland Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Cintron Victoria.
During the stop, a narcotics K-9 unit was deployed, alerting officers to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. A later search revealed a wrapped, brick-like object concealed behind a false bottom in the center console. The material tested positively for cocaine.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) conducted a combined investigation into this matter, with help from the Sarasota and Lakeland Police Departments.
Jeff Chang, an assistant United States Attorney, will prosecute the case.
