A 37-year-old woman was detained in Ocala after a police officer allegedly noticed her walking down a sidewalk without pants on.
On Sunday, November 16, 2025, an Ocala Police Department officer was in a patrol vehicle parked around the 2900 block of E Highway 40 when he noticed a woman walking on the sidewalk. The officer stated in the arrest report that the woman’s underwear was “around her knees, exposing her buttocks and vagina area.”
The woman was later identified as Kendra Ann Jones.
The report also indicated that Jones was “actively drinking from a liquor bottle” that was covered in a plastic bag. The officer approached Jones and grabbed the 375-milliliter bottle of “Flash Point,” noting that over 75% of the liquid within had already been drunk.
When the officer attempted to speak with Jones, she allegedly got “combative,” so she was handcuffed.
Jones was arrested and put into Marion County Jail, where she remains in detention. Her bond has been set at $5,000, and she is charged with exposing sexual organs and violating a city code by consuming in public.
According to records from Marion County Court, Jones is represented by a public defender. She has made a written plea of “not guilty,” and her court appearance is planned for Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 9 a.m.
