The Ohio State Highway Patrol says troopers confiscated 46 pounds of suspected cocaine during a traffic check in Jackson County earlier this week.
According to a Facebook post from the department, the drugs were discovered on December 3 when troopers stopped a car on U.S. Route 35. The cocaine’s street worth is estimated to be $546,000.
Additional information on the driver, the investigation, and potential charges was not immediately available.
The case continues to be investigated.
