$100k winning Powerball ticket sold in Ohio

The $875 million Powerball jackpot remains unclaimed following Monday night’s drawing, but thousands of Ohio players won prizes, according to the Ohio Lottery.

A single ticket in Ohio matched enough numbers to win $100,000. That ticket was sold at Rarden, Scioto County. Throughout the state, players claimed additional rewards, including:

  • 23 winners of $200
  • 59 winners of $100
  • 739 winners of $14
  • 9,407 winners of $8
  • 1,609 winners of $7
  • 20,333 winners of $4

Lottery officials also reported that a $1 million winning ticket was sold in Florida.

The winning numbers on Monday were 8, 32, 52, 56, 64, and Powerball 23, plus a 2x Power Play.

With no jackpot winner, the grand prize has increased to $930 million for the next drawing on Wednesday, December 10, with a cash option of $429 million. Powerball authorities state that the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338, while the odds of winning $1 million are 1 in 11,688,053.52.
