Vicksburg three-month-old located safe after AMBER Alert issued

UPDATE: Vicksburg police announced on December 13, 2025, that three-month-old Paris Thomas has been located safe.

ORIGINAL: An Amber Alert has been issued for a three-month-old girl who police say was kidnapped in Vicksburg.

Police are searching for Michael Thomas, Jr., 37, and three-month-old Paris Thomas. The last sighting of the two was near Vicksburg’s 2600 block of Roosevelt Avenue around 1:38 p.m. on December 10, 2025, according to an AMBER Alert. Paris Thomas wore a diaper and a blanket.

Michael Thomas is 6’1″ tall and weighs 142 pounds. He was last spotted on foot with the infant.

Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts can call the Vicksburg Police Department at 601-636-2511, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation at 855-642-5378, or 911.
