Three people were detained early Sunday morning after deputies found suspected methamphetamine during a raid on a home in Henderson County.
According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies carried out a raid at a home in the 2000 block of County Road 2101 around 12:20 a.m. During the search, deputies discovered probable prepared methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities identified Cody Wayne Lechler, Joshua Randall Jones, and Sarah Margaret-Lynn Darnell as the suspects. The sheriff’s office stated that Lechler acknowledged trafficking methamphetamine. Deputies reportedly discovered Jones carrying probable meth in his sock and Darnell concealing suspected meth in her purse.
According to the sheriff’s office, all three were placed into the Henderson County Jail on counts of making and possession of a controlled narcotic. Jones was also wanted on three warrants when he was arrested, according to officials.
The investigation is underway.
