The man accused of shooting out his passenger window and striking another car on I-435 has been arrested.
According to court records, Dorian Fuel Jr. is charged with first-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action, and one count of unauthorized use of a weapon in the shooting on December 16 between I-435 and Woodland Avenue.
When Kansas City police arrived at the scene, they discovered a guy on the side of the highway with a gunshot wound to his leg and many bullet holes in the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle.
According to court records, detectives used witness testimony and surveillance footage to discover that Fuel followed the victim’s vehicle from a petrol station and then allegedly fired at it as both were driving on I-435.
According to investigators, the rounds were fired from a passenger window toward the victim’s vehicle.
