The Chicago Police Department is asking the public for help in finding Jason Naughton, a 40-year-old detective who went missing in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois.
The CPD has declared him an endangered missing person and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
Naughton, a white male around 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, was last seen in touch on December 19, 2025.
It’s unclear what he was wearing when he went missing.
Authorities have noted his frequent visits to the Chicago Lawn neighborhood, particularly the 6400 block of South St. Louis Street.
According to the Chicago Police Department’s news release, the Area One Detective Division-SVU is in charge of the investigation and serves as the primary point of contact for all leads.
