A man and a woman have been detained following a shooting early Sunday morning in Northeast Baltimore, according to police.

Police said officers responded to multiple complaints about a shooting in the 6000 block of Belair Road at 1:44 a.m.

When authorities arrived, they found two women who said that the suspects, a man and a woman, had shot a gun in their direction, but the victims had not been hurt.

One suspect, a 42-year-old man, was seen heading south on the sidewalk and captured by officers, who also found a pistol on him.

The second suspect, a 37-year-old woman, was seen entering a parked vehicle.

Officers successfully halted the vehicle, detained her, and seized a firearm from her possession.

Both suspects were sent to the Central Booking and Intake Facility for processing.
