An Ohio woman was detained following a disturbance at a popular nightspot in The Villages.
According to an arrest complaint from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, a bystander reported Lee Anne Crabtree, 57, of Walbridge, Ohio, arguing with a man in the parking lot across from Cody’s Original Roadhouse at Lake Sumter Landing. Crabtree started pushing, slapping, and hitting the man during the altercation.
The man informed deputies that they were inside Cody’s ordering dinner when they got into an argument. The argument continued after they left the restaurant.
Crabtree was arrested on a charge of domestic battery. She was placed into the Sumter County Detention Center on a $500 bond.
