A death investigation is underway following the discovery of an unresponsive woman aboard a CTA L train on the North Side Monday morning.
It happened around 11:25 a.m., when officers responded to a call about a person down in the 7500 block of North Paulina Street.
According to authorities, the unidentified woman, aged 58, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“Red, Purple, and Yellow line trains are back operating normally following a medical emergency on board a Red Line train at Howard earlier this afternoon,” a CTA representative said in a brief statement.
Area 3 detectives are conducting an investigation.
