An Ocala man will serve eight and a half years in prison for trafficking methamphetamine.

State prosecutors allege Jean-Marie Celestin, 31, sold pounds of drugs to Crawfordville, an unincorporated area of Wakulla County in the Panhandle.

According to officials, he was previously convicted in Florida, Georgia, and Missouri. Celestin was most recently convicted in Marion County in 2023 on drug and firearms crimes.
